On September 27, 2024, I lost my studio and everything in it to the flood waters of Hurricane Helene. To say it’s been an adjustment is an understatement, so many emotions, so much devastation. I am beyond grateful that my home was spared and the work I lost was mostly work in progress. Shock and grief are stages and I’m happy to say I’m winding my way through them all and looking forward to building anew. There is something freeing about starting from scratch, nothing familiar, that is terrifying and exciting at the same time. 2025, here we come!
