Large Handcrafted Jewelry Box

The body of the box is constructed of California Claro Walnut, and it is lined with African Padauk and sueded pigskin. The trays and dividers are also African Padauk. The top is Curly Eucalyptus inlaid with figured Padauk and Claro Walnut. The box features a continuous grain around all four corners. All the hardware are solid brass siderail hinges with a unique full mortise lock.
The finishing process consists of hand scraping and sanding to 800 grit, and then a multi layered hand rubbed finish of a proprietary blend of natural oils and waxes that provides a soft, warm luster.
